Physical Security & ATFP
Construction and Design+Build delivery at mission-critical secure facilities has been part of Edifice’s core competency since the firm was founded in 2006. Within the U.S., this work includes performance for DoD and intelligence stakeholders including, Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Maryland Procurement Office (MPO NSA), the Washington Headquarters Service (WHS), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).
Edifice’s construction professionals routinely work at mission critical, historic and specialty facilities on projects including certified SCIF facilities in compliance with ICD-705 requirements, and major infrastructure new construction and upgrades to support Anti-Terrorism/Anti-Force Protection (ATFP) and progressive collapse. Projects include firing ranges and munitions storage, federal courthouse physical security and new construction, personnel training, and classified research and development activities. Edifice has successfully completed individual projects, designed to LEED® standards, greater than 90,000 SF and $20M at federal mission-critical facilities.
